The Challenge in Conventional PC Dyeing
Most dyeing units, especially in textile hubs like Ludhiana, follow a conventional two-stage dyeing process:
- Polyester dyeing at 130°C
- Reduction Clearing (R.C.) at 90°C for 20 minutes
- Multiple hot and cold washes
- Cotton dyeing
- Neutralization, soaping, and final washes
While this delivers acceptable quality, it results in:
- Excessive water and chemical use
- Long process time
- High COD (pollution load)
- Limited daily production due to ETP and water quotas

Starcosoap PCS is a specially formulated product designed to replace the traditional reduction clearing and multiple washing steps.
It effectively removes unfixed disperse dyes (from polyester) and reactive dyes (from cotton) in a single bath — without compromising color fastness or brightness.
